Privacy policy
Last updated: February 2026
This policy describes how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use the LoL Metrics website (lol-metrics.com). It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data controller
The data controller responsible for the processing described below is LoL Metrics. You can contact us for any request relating to your personal data via the contact details on zooqie.com.
2. Hosting and location of data
This website is hosted in France by OVH (OVH SAS, 2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France). Connection and access logs generated when you visit the site are stored on OVH’s servers in the European Union. We do not transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area for the operation of this website.
3. Data we collect and why
When you browse this website:
- Connection/access logs — Our host (OVH) may record data such as IP address, date and time of access, pages viewed, browser type and referring URL. This is necessary for the operation and security of the site (legitimate interest). Logs are generally kept for a limited period in accordance with the host’s retention policy.
- Fonts — We use Google Fonts to display typography. When your browser loads fonts from Google’s servers, Google may receive your IP address. You can find Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
When you purchase LoL Metrics:
- Purchases are handled by Gumroad (Gumroad, Inc.). Gumroad collects and processes the data you provide (e.g. email, payment details) in accordance with their own privacy policy. We may receive from Gumroad the information necessary to deliver your license (e.g. email). We recommend reading Gumroad’s privacy policy before completing a purchase.
4. Legal basis and retention
We process the data described above on the following bases:
- Legitimate interest — Operation and security of the website (e.g. server logs).
- Contract — Processing related to the sale and delivery of LoL Metrics (e.g. data received from Gumroad).
- Legal obligation — Where we must retain certain data to comply with the law (e.g. invoicing).
We keep your data only for as long as necessary for these purposes or as required by law.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
We process very little personal data (see section 3). The GDPR still gives you the following rights in relation to any data we do process:
- Access — Obtain confirmation as to whether we process your data and a copy of that data.
- Rectification — Have inaccurate personal data corrected.
- Erasure — Request deletion of your data in the cases provided for by law.
- Restriction of processing — Request that we limit how we use your data in certain situations.
- Data portability — Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format where the processing is based on consent or contract.
- Object — Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Withdraw consent — Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond within one month. In practice we may have little or no data about you (for example we do not keep a user database); we will still reply and explain what we hold. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in the EU country of your residence.
6. Security
Given the limited data we process, we rely on our host (OVH) and on Gumroad for the technical security of the data they hold. We do not store personal data on our own systems beyond what is strictly needed (e.g. to deliver your license).
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when we make changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
